Machine Technician - Shear and Roll form Operators

The individual who functions in this position must carry out all of the functions associated with being a Machine Technician after a sufficient period of training by an experienced Hendrick Operator:
- Produce product as described in the shop order.
- Recognize repeat customer orders and identify specific customer requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance on machine.
- Set proper die clearance, roll pressure, gage settings or any other pertinent settings associated with secondary operation equipment.
- Read shop order with instructions and set up machine or tool service equipment accordingly.
- Adhere to all quality control/assurance procedures.
- Identify and separate all scrap alloys properly.
- Store and remove tools from storage as required.
- Perform all other duties and assignments as required including those required upon reassignment or transfer and regardless of whether the duties assigned are included within or related to his/her normal duties.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equalavent
- Must possess basic math and reading skills
- Requires ability to read a ruler, set calipers, read a blue print and micrometer
- 1 year of mechanical or related experience preferred
- Requires ability to lift 50 Lbs. unassisted
- Standing for extended periods of time to a maximum of 8 hours
- Stooping, bending, stretching as necessary
- Requires good hand to eye coordination
